Who we are

Asynk Tech LTD ("we"), 167–169 Great Portland Street, London W1W 5PF, United Kingdom, publishes the mobile games Pause One, Detour, Squeeze (the "games"). We are the data controller for the games. Contact: [email protected].

What the games store on your device

The games have no accounts and no sign-in. Your progress, best scores, stars and settings are saved only on your device. We do not receive them. Deleting the game deletes this data.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The games are free and show ads through Google AdMob. To show, measure and limit ads and to prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects and shares with Google:

  • your device's advertising ID (Android advertising ID or Apple IDFA),
  • IP address and approximate location derived from it,
  • device and app information (model, OS version, language, app version),
  • ad interactions (ads shown and tapped) and crash or performance diagnostics.

Google processes this data under its own policies. See How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase)

To understand how the games are played and to improve them, the games use Google Analytics for Firebase. It records game events such as levels started and finished, tutorial progress, screens viewed and session length, together with an app instance ID, device and app information, and approximate location derived from your IP address. We do not send your name, email or any account data, because the games have none.

Analytics data is only collected after the consent step below, and it follows your choice: if you do not consent, Google Analytics uses consent mode and does not store analytics identifiers. Google keeps analytics data for up to 14 months. See Privacy and Security in Firebase.

Your choices and consent

In the UK, the European Economic Area, Switzerland and US states with privacy laws, the games show Google's consent message before any ad is requested. On iOS the games also ask for App Tracking Transparency permission. We show personalised ads only when you allow them. Otherwise you see non-personalised ads, which still use the data above for frequency capping, fraud prevention and measurement.

You can change your choice at any time in each game under Settings → Privacy options (where your region requires it). You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings.

Legal bases

We rely on your consent for personalised advertising and for analytics identifiers, and on our legitimate interest in funding free games for non-personalised advertising, fraud prevention and keeping the games working.

Children

The games are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has used a game, contact us and we will help.

Retention

Data saved on your device stays until you delete the game. Google keeps advertising data according to its own retention policies.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your data, to object to or restrict processing, to withdraw consent, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Because the games hold no account data, most requests are handled by changing your ad choices or your device's advertising ID. For anything else, email [email protected]. You can also complain to your data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO).

Changes

If what the games collect changes, we update this page and the date at the top before the new version of a game is released.
